Happy Canada Day!

Canada Day is celebrated nation-wide each July 1st. The festivities commemorate the proclamation of the British North America Act of 1867, which was Canada’s peaceful and democratic separation from the United Kingdom to being an independent nation within what is now the growing Commonwealth of independent nations.

anada celebrates its 158th birthday on July 1. Canada Day is a statutory holiday throughout the nation. We at Upper Canada Immigration Consultants will celebrate the nation’s birthday with friends and family. That means our office is closed from the close of business on  Monday June 30 until the morning of Wednesday July 2. We will re-open on Wednesday July 2nd, during normal business hours Eastern Daylight Time.

Join our 44 million Canadian family members, and celebrate Canada Day on July 1.
